Day 61

Dina:

Today was my first double workout EVER. I swam (deep water aquatics/treading water) for an hour and then proceeded right into a TRX workout with Kelly. I felt completely dialed in to both, sweated my ass off and felt like I WORKED.

Nutritionally, I am having a pretty sound day. Checking in with my Lose It! App, I have 762 calories left for the day (I DO NOT subtract the exercise calories like Lose It! tells me I can. I eat 1600 calories a day, period.) and my nutrients look like this:  17% fat, 52% carb, 30% protein. I am planning on having a good dinner of quinoa, chicken and sautéed kale, maybe a yogurt smoothie and of course, lots of water.

I am beat. But this is the best I have felt physically in a long time. I am looking forward to a full night’s sleep tonight!!  Whew!!!

Tomorrow is a busy day with appointments and errands. Dentist for the whole family, volunteering at the school, allergy shots…BUT, I plan on working as hard tomorrow as I did today. It may not be doing TRX or swimming, but I have my treadmill, my recumbent bike and the P90X series in my basement. Tomorrow I want to feel as physically spent as I do today. It’s a good feeling. And even though I am running around I plan on sticking on my plan nutritionally by packing snacks and a lunch to bring with me while out and about.

Kelly and I had a quick conversation about digestion and water and fiber and agreed on some changes. More leafy greens and more water. And that’s all I have to say about that. :)

Random number generator. No movement. But today, I am totally okay with that.
Tired. But (as I yelled at Kelly today) tired in a really GOOD way. :)

I can feel Dina’s excitement, can everyone?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I hope so.  Can you feel the positive energy?!!!!!!!!!  I hope so.   I feel like as of yesterday – Dina “gets it”.  I mean that in a good way….like as in….HOO-FRICKIN’-RAY.  Being tired and “being tired” are 2 VERY different things.  I am so happy Dina took yesterday for herself.  “I heart endorphins”

I forgot Dina yelled at me yesterday, but when she did, I understood exactly what she meant, what a relief.  We weren’t just on the same page, we were on the same word on the same page.

A successful day!
